A small well established and busy overseas CAT (SDL) heavy equipment dealership is searching for highly motivated and energetic individuals to relocate to the Cayman Islands for our heavy equipment service and repair operations.

Mechanic/Technicians with a minimum of 5 years Heavy Equipment machinery repair and servicing experience and at least 3 years CAT experience. Must be able to diagnose and carry out repairs on Caterpillar Heavy Equipment and Diesel Engines. Additional experience with generators, lift trucks and Marine diesel engines would be a definite asset.

The successful candidate will have a high level of demonstrable knowledge, skill and experience in working on Caterpillar machinery without close supervision. It would be beneficial if the candidate has completed a recognized vocational apprenticeship or similar at a Caterpillar dealership and have a clean Driver's license. Must have experience using SIS and ET systems.

Our Service Controller position you must be experienced and knowledgeable in the repair and servicing of heavy equipment.
Must have experience with CAT equipment and additional experience with John Deere, Kubota, Genie, Echo, Scag, Wacker, generators and marine engines would be a definite asset.
Responsible for the service department operations including planning and scheduling workloads, planning parts and tool requirements, sourcing parts, handling warranty claims and performing inspections on finished works.
Must possess strong communication and people skills in both interacting with customers and other staff members. Must be proficient in the use of SIS, ET diagnostic systems and heavy machinery manufactures warranty claim procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
A reasonable level of office and administrative skills are also required including managing the work order process from opening jobs through job invoicing.
The goal of this position is to keep the department running in an efficient and profitable manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to exceed the customer's expectations.
